Trevor Darrell
Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, MIT

An assistant professor of electrical engineering and computer science at MIT,
Trevor Darrell also leads the Vision Interface Group at the Artificial Intelligence
Laboratory. His interests include computer vision, interactive graphics, and
machine learning. Prior to joining the MIT faculty he worked as a member of the
research staff at Interval Research in Palo Alto, California, researching vision
based interface algorithms for consumer applications. He received his PhD and
master's degrees from the MIT Program in Media Arts and Sciences in 1996 and
1991, respectively, and his BSE while working at the GRASP Robotics
Laboratory at the University of Pennsylvania in 1988.
